FBI Knows Jan. 5 DC Pipe Bomber Was a Cop – They Have Cell Data

Steve Baker, the investigative reporter who presented compelling evidence that a Capitol Police officer planted dud pipe bombs on the RNC and DNC premisses, explains that the FBI knew that a law enforcement officer was in those areas during the 45-minute timeline that the bombs were planted. He said that a special phone number tied to the FirstNet network that gives priority to emergency officials pinged twice new the bomb drops.

It was previously reported that Shauni Kerkhoff, a white female former Capitol Police officer who went on to work for the CIA, was suspected in the January 5 pipe bomb scare that led to events at the Capitol on January 6.

Despite the evidence, Brian Coles, Jr, a black man reported to be autistic, is in confinement and awaits trial.

In December, two days before Brian Cole’s arrest, Baker learned that the congressional committee that was formed for the investigative purpose of looking at all of the circumstances around January 6 had been informed in a private meeting, with only six people in the room, that there was in fact a phone number that belonged to law enforcement that pinged at both bomb drop locations near the RNC and DNC premisses on the night of January 5.

The six men who were briefed included: Marshall Yates, FBI Assistant Director of the Office of Congressional Affairs; Congressman Barry Loudermilk, Chairman of the Select Subcommittee to Investigate the Remaining Questions Surrounding January 6, 2021; Rob Adkerson, Rep. Loudermilk’s then Chief of Staff; Steven Sund, former Chief of the U.S. Capitol Police; A now-retired former Deputy Chief of the US Capitol Police who became a whistleblower in November of 2021 when he filed his first protected disclosure related to the events of January 6, 2021, with members of Congress; and John Solomon, investigative journalist and founder and CEO of Just the News. Solomon now serves as the chairman of the new Government Transparency Task Force in the White House.

Baker said that the phone number was a FirstNet phone number that has priority bandwidth access for emergency situations and it pinged once in each of the locations during the 45 minute timeline when the bombs were planted.

Marshall Yates, the the congressional liaison to the FBI at the time, informed the men in this private meeting that a FirstNet number pinged twice in the subject areas during the timeline. Because it was a FirstNet number, Baker says we know that it was law enforcement/ police.

Baker said that there is no way that FBI Director Kash Patel and former FBI deputy Director Dan Bongino are ignorant of this information.

In addition, several days before Baker broke the news and accused Shauni Kerkhoff of planting the pipe bombs, Baker said that Republican Senator Loudermilk sent Baker a text acknowledging that he had corroborating information also leading the committee to know that law enforcement was involved in planting of the devices, and Loudermilk specifically wrote that it was the Capital Police.

Baker said that John Solomon, the editor and reporter of Just The News, was also in the room when it was revealed that the law enforcement FirstNet number pinged twice during the timeline, but he failed to report on the blockbuster news.
