When the Banks Create Inflation, Jack Housing Prices, and Force You to Borrow From Them it is called: The Compound Trap

When the Banks Create Inflation, Jack Housing Prices, and Force You to Borrow From Them it is called: The Compound Trap
Published:

Dear Subscribers,

The top story is the interview I did with Ernie Hancock on our new book: THE GREATEST THEFT IN HUMAN HISTORY! How the Banks and “Government” Will Steal At Least $1.40 Million From The Typical American Worker… “Legally,” we also kicked around how and why we were getting censored on Substack, and we had an interesting sidebar conversation about how FedEx lost the US Postal Service air freight contract, then went on to kick the Postal Service in the teeth and undercut them on Priority Mail. Did you know FedEx ships the same flat-rate letters and packages the Postal Service ships in 2-3 days for less, while guaranteeing delivery in 2 days with dramatically MORE reliability and dramatically LESS theft?

Click above or here to watch the one-hour interview:https://youtu.be/cZD8GVFwhpg

I also made some visualizations for our new book, The Greatest Theft in Human History – How the Banks and “Government” Will Steal at Least $1.40 MILLION from the Typical Worker… “Legally”, the top memes below!

The NEW book calculates the total cost of inflation (fractional reserve banking & “government” dollar creation) + confiscatory taxation + Social Security underpayment across various income levels. For the median worker earning $60K per year, the total is $1.40 million or 58% of everything he or she earns. It is actually more than that, which we explain in the book, but we wanted it to be conservative and bulletproof for economists, political pundits, and government apologists of all stripes!

We coined a new term/economic concept: The Compound Trap. The Compound Trap is where average workers are forced to borrow (or borrow SIGNIFICANTLY MORE) from the banks that both stole value from their money through the inflation they caused with fractional-reserve banking AND jacked up the prices of housing, medical care, and education (among other things). The banks caused the inflation and jacked up housing/education/medical costs, and the average person has to borrow from them to afford what they made unaffordable. That is just one component of the $595,000 that the average worker making $60,000 per year will lose to the crooked money system over a 40-year career and 20-year retirement. Details in our new book: THE GREATEST THEFT IN HUMAN HISTORY! How the Banks and “Government” Will Steal At Least $1.40 Million From The Typical American Worker… “Legally”,

In our new book THE GREATEST THEFT IN HUMAN HISTORY! How the Banks and “Government” Will Steal At Least $1.40 Million From The Typical American Worker… “Legally,” we coined a new term/ concept in economics: The Compound Trap, which we explain in the first visualization. In the visualization above, you can see the Compound Trap in housing, where institutional investors used cheap fractional-reserve capital to buy 450,000+ homes at auction and jack up housing costs for the average person. This raised the rents institutional investors could extract AND forced the average person to borrow at interest (or borrow significantly more) from the same banks that created the money out of thin air and the problem in the first place.

In this visualization from our new book: THE GREATEST THEFT IN HUMAN HISTORY! How the Banks and “Government” Will Steal At Least $1.40 Million From The Typical American Worker… “Legally”, you can see the total cost of taxes for a typical American worker earning $60,000 a year over a 40-year career and 20-year retirement = $785,000. You can also see how much of that will be wasted and an estimate of what it would have cost the same worker to pay for the same services in a competitive free market.

THE GREATEST THEFT IN HUMAN HISTORY! How the Banks and “Government” Will Steal At Least $1.40 Million From The Typical American Worker… “Legally”, add the inflation + confiscatory taxation + Social Security underpayment together from the founding of the Federal Reserve in 1913 until today and it has been the Greatest Theft in All of Human History!

One early reader ordered 200 copies for sheriffs’ departments and justices across North Carolina — then ordered 200 more.

A note on the numbers: Earlier previews of this analysis used private inflation indices and a gold-standard comparison in the headline figure. For the book, we anchored the headline to the government’s own official CPI, used the Reality Index (realityindex.co) as our alternative CPI measure, and moved the gold-standard comparison out of the headline total, so critics have nothing easy to wave away. The $1.40 million is the floor, not the ceiling. The full math is in the book.

Etienne de la Boetie2, the founder of the Art of Liberty Foundation, breaks down his new book: The Greatest Theft in Human History - How the Banks and “Government” Will Steal at Least $1.40 MILLION from the Typical Worker… “Legally.” The book is the first to calculate the total theft of inflation, confiscatory taxation, and Social Security underpayment over a 40-year career and 20-year retirement. Etienne also explains how the Art of Liberty Foundation and other truth and freedom movement creators were and are being censored, shadow-banned, demonetized, and deindexed on Substack and how Art of Liberty built their own censorship-resistant publishing platforms at ArtOfLiberty.Foundation, Voluntaryist.News, and FiveMemeFri.org to get this information to the world. Satellite Company Backed by a JD Vance Fund Wins Pentagon Contract

By Donald Shaw, SLUDGE

Vance holds a stake worth up to $1 million in the fund and could collect millions more if its investments pay off.

The Pentagon awarded a satellite surveillance contract last week to a defense startup backed by a venture fund in which Vice President JD Vance holds a stake worth up to $1 million and a right to more than half of the investment profits paid to the fund’s managers.

True Anomaly was one of two companies selected to build prototype satellites for GHOST-R, a Space Force effort to observe and track other spacecraft in geosynchronous orbit. Northrop Grumman received the other award. The value of the contracts has not been disclosed. If True Anomaly’s prototype succeeds, the company could receive more work: Space Systems Command says successful prototypes have a path into its RG-XX surveillance satellite program, and both companies must submit plans for scaling their spacecraft into a full constellation.

The [Trump] family that grifts together

When it comes to plundering the presidency, the thief-in-chief brings the wife and kids.

By The Editorial Board, The Inquirer

Donald Trump is not the only Trump profiting from the presidency.

Nearly everyone in the Trump family is cashing in, raising concerns about self-dealing and hundreds of potential conflicts of interest.

While relatives of past presidents sought to make money off their family name — see: Billy Carter, Roger Clinton, and Hunter Biden — no one has been anywhere near as brazen or greedy. Nor has anyone dared to mix policy with profiteering like the Trump family. It is all part of Trump’s shameless Art of the Steal.

How Meta Uses A.I. Data Centers to Avoid Billions in Federal Taxes

Meta is exploiting a lucrative tax break intended to support research and experimentation. Its own accountants say the gambit is risky.

By Kashmir Hill, Jesse Drucker, Eli Tan and Mike Isaac, The New York Times

Mark Zuckerberg says Meta’s A.I. push is a tremendous success. “Our investments in A.I. are accelerating every major part of our core business,” he has told investors. “Every sign that we’re seeing in our own work and across the industry gives us confidence in this investment.”

But when Meta files its taxes, it tells the Internal Revenue Service a different story. It claims that its A.I. data centers are a giant experiment that could fail, according to four people with knowledge of the company’s operations.

It does this so it can tap into a tax credit intended for research and experimentation. It’s an aggressive interpretation of the tax break, which Meta embraced to claim billions of dollars in tax credits for data center expansion.

Congress Keeps The Trading Desk Open: Senate Dems Sink Lawmaker Trading Ban 53-47

By Tyler Durden, ZeroHedge

A midterm messaging bill that was never going to become law just confirmed the only bipartisan consensus that matters: members of Congress still get to play the tape.

Senate Democrats just blocked cloture on a bill that would have stopped lawmakers from buying new publicly traded stocks. The vote was 53-47. Sixty were required. But guess what happened? Republicans dropped Voter ID into it so the Dems would nuke it.

The measure was H.R. 7008, the Stop Insider Trading Act. House Republicans shoved it through on July 22 by 232-198, with 13 Democrats peeling off. Senate Majority Leader John Thune teed it up this week as a pre-recess vote for vulnerable incumbents, with Nebraska Republican Pete Ricketts as the face of the Senate version.

Overwhelmed by Ukraine’s Drones, Russia Tells Businesses to Defend Themselves

Mounting Ukrainian strikes, orders from the Kremlin are forcing industries to take responsibility for protecting themselves

By Thomas Grove and Daria Matviichuk, The Wall Street Journal

Mounting Ukrainian strikes, orders from the Kremlin are forcing industries to take responsibility for protecting themselves

When a Ukrainian drone struck one of Russia’s biggest steel producers earlier this year, the company’s owner and the country’s richest businessman, Alexei Mordashov, brought in an air-defense system to protect the firm’s biggest mill on the outskirts of Moscow, people familiar with the matter said.

The move by steel giant Severstal was an example of how Russia’s private industries are increasingly having to fend for themselves as Ukrainian strikes intensify. The escalating threat is rippling through the economy, disrupting businesses and changing job requirements, making security guards and even postal workers part of the drone defenses.

Quoth The Raven: The Easy Money Fairy Tale Is About To End Violently

Truth, consequences and pain are on their way. And to the best of what I can tell, no one is prepared psychologically.

By Quoth the Raven

For the better part of the last couple years, I have wondered whether financial markets are permanently broken. Not simply overvalued or temporarily irrational, but actually broken at the mechanical level and permanently distorted. I’ve written about it.

The basic process that is supposed to make capitalism work goes like this. Capital flows toward good ole’ fashioned productive uses (like the George Foreman Grill™) and away from flashy hot-shit stupid ones (like the Apple Vision Pro). Good businesses eventually outperform bad ones. Fraud eventually gets exposed. Making money is the point of a business. Price is a rationing mechanism and is determined by free markets. This system appears to have been dead for the last 10 years, at least.

Nowadays, we function under a derivative of capitalism (hereinafter referred to as “crony capitalism snorting bath salts, operating under policies so disorganized they’d make a Jackson Pollock painting look like the blueprints for a nuclear reactor”) where trillions of dollars can be created overnight, governments and central banks focus obsessively on a handful of key numbers, and preserving the nominal value of stocks and other financial assets has become the priority.

Revoy’s Battery On Wheels Makes Any Diesel Truck Electric In 5 Minutes

By Hussain A, The Electric Viking

Revoy, a San Francisco-based startup, has unveiled a swappable electric trailer dolly that can transform existing diesel semi trucks into hybrids without modifying their engines. The system, which features a massive battery and active safety tech, aims to cut emissions and operating costs for fleet operators. The first commercial deployment begins in Oregon this year.

The Revoy electric dolly is a self-powered unit designed to fit between a diesel tractor’s fifth-wheel hitch and its cargo trailer. Measuring 13 feet (3.96 meters) long and weighing 22,000 lbs (9,979 kg), the dolly houses a 575 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery that powers an electrically driven axle.

When the driver accelerates, the dolly’s electric motor assists with propulsion, reducing the load on the diesel engine. During braking, the system switches to regenerative mode, recharging the battery and helping to slow the truck. The dolly also features active safety systems to prevent rollovers, flipping, and jackknifing, along with blind-spot detection and automatic reversing.

Open Letter to the Faithful and Enforcers of the Vaccine Religion

Wake Up!

By Denis Rancourt

You have received the sacrament of vaccination by bodily injection with bio-dispersive cytotoxic cationic lipid nanoparticles and their cargo. Many of you did this out of presumed moral rectitude and to save yourselves from injury and death no less.

In your minds, the unfaithful who resisted and refused the injection are at best simply ignorant and selfish and at worse criminally reckless deserving the ultimate punishments of banishment and death.

However, it turns out that the “protections” you participated in imposing (from masking to isolation to confinement to imposed testing and injection) actually killed millions worldwide, 0.13% of population per year, all ages.

Meta Could Face Billions in Penalties After New Mexico Facebook Verdict

If the maximum penalty is imposed across all violations found by the jury, the amount would exceed $219 billion.

By Bill Pan, The Epoch Times

If the maximum penalty is imposed across all violations found by the jury, the amount would exceed $219 billion.

A New Mexico jury has found Facebook liable for tens of millions of violations of the state’s consumer protection law, potentially exposing the social media platform to billions of dollars in fines.

A Santa Fe jury on Sept. 25 found that Facebook committed more than 43.8 million violations of New Mexico’s Unfair Practices Act through false or misleading statements to consumers, according to the New Mexico Department of Justice.

Simplicius: Russian Strike Campaign Again Shifts to Target Ukrainian Telecoms and Data Centers in Latest Barrage

By Simplicius

The Russian general staff has again interestingly evolved its tactics this past week. It seems in recent months, Russia has cycled through a gamut of different target types as a kind of ‘monthly theme’. First it was Ukrainian energy infrastructure, then recently it turned to bridges and warehouses, including the Nova Poshta postal service, and lately locomotives. But now the objective du jour has become Ukrainian telecoms, data centers, and internet infrastructure.

It began last week when Russia struck Ukraine’s largest cellphone-telecom and internet operator KyivStar which, incidentally, it again struck last night. Recall that ex-CIA head Mike Pompeo was given a directorship at KyivStar for unknown reasons, presumably as it gives the CIA a direct control pipeline into Ukraine’s internet and mobile data, allowing the control, blackmail, and surveillance of anyone in the country.

KyivStar also happens to have a channel—which the company brags about—that shows a 24/7 live feed of “the Kremlin burning” that is meant to be a kind of twistedly soothing Ukrainian ASMR:

FDA-cleared exoskeleton puts spinal-cord patients back on their feet

By Omar Kardoudi, New Atlas

A robotic suit that lets someone with a spinal-cord injury stand up, look a friend in the eye, or stir a pot on the stove without anyone’s help just cleared its biggest hurdle. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the agency that vets medical devices before they reach the public, has authorized commercial sale of Eve, a personal exoskeleton built by French company Wandercraft.

Eve is not meant to replace a wheelchair. It’s a tool for the moments when standing matters more than rolling – a conversation, a meal prep, brushing teeth, moving around the house without asking for a helping hand. Wandercraft says any adult with a spinal cord injury can use it, regardless of where along the spine the damage occurred, as long as they can operate the control joystick.

The “Effective Altruists” want you scared, stupid and subservient.

By Mark E. Jeftovic, Bombthrower

Today’s post is a sneak preview of the “Future Shock” section of the forthcoming Sovereign Capitalist Letter (get our latest report and a sample issue here).

Just heading into mid-September, a purported moral panic broke out amongst the frontier AI leaders that their own products were “too dangerous” and so the only remedy would be for the government to regulate all AI models.

Weeks earlier, Bernie Sanders had introduced The Ban AI-Superintelligence Act, that would make it illegal to create an AI model that was more intelligent than humans, going so far as to prescribe a 20-year prison term for any person who did and the “corporate death penalty” for companies.

The fast-food giant [NYSE:MCD] is giving artificial intelligence another shot at the drive-thru as part of an $8.5-billion investment through 2036 to modernize its restaurants. This time, McDonald’s is rolling out Archy, an AI-powered system that can take orders, suggest an extra item and help make sure your Big Mac and side of nuggets actually make it into the bag.

OpenAI takes on Meta with dots agent in autonomous AI push

By Deepa Seetharaman and Aditya Soni, Reuters

OpenAI on Tuesday unveiled always-on agents called dots that chase user goals across apps on their own, deepening its push into the lucrative enterprise market and pitting it against Meta (META.O), opens new tab in the race to sell AI that can work autonomously.

The dots agents aim to ‌capitalize on growing demand for agents that can handle everyday work with little supervision.

The launch marks a new front in the competition among AI companies to move beyond chatbots and sell software that acts on users’ behalf — a shift that could reshape how businesses operate but that has raised safety concerns after a string of incidents in which AI agents acted in ways their makers did not intend.

Reading Linked To Lower Stress, Better Brain Health

By StudyFinds Analysis

People reach for a book to calm down more often than they reach for a glass of wine or a hot bath, according to a new editorial pulling together decades of research on reading and mental health. One 2015 survey found that just six minutes of reading was tied to a 68 percent drop in stress levels.

Published in the journal Psychological Medicine, the editorial comes from researchers at the University of Cambridge and The Queen’s Reading Room. Rather than running a new experiment, the authors combined survey findings, brain scans, and long-term health studies to argue that reading for pleasure may be more than a hobby, and could function as a low-cost habit that supports well-being.

Their conclusion goes beyond stress relief. People who read regularly for enjoyment tend to report more empathy and less loneliness, and older adults who keep reading appear to face a lower risk of memory decline. Some of these patterns held up regardless of income or education level, though the authors are careful to note that most of this evidence shows associations rather than proof that reading directly causes the outcomes.

That case draws on survey data, memory and attention tests, brain scans comparing readers with non-readers, and studies that tracked the same groups of people for years or decades.

One survey of more than 4,000 adults asked about reading habits and well-being. Another followed close to 2,000 people in a shared reading program. Several studies gave cognitive tests to adults over 55, and a few tracked groups for a decade or more to see whether early reading habits predicted health later in life.

Officials Are Keeping A LIST Of Brits Who Question Government Policy

By Steve Watson, Modernity

The British state is compiling a list of people who criticise its own counter-terror programme. Ordinary X and Reddit users who questioned Prevent training, flagged a one-sided focus on the “far Right,” or simply criticised it have had their posts logged, stored and “investigated” by a Home Office-linked unit most of them have never heard of.

Officials spent more than a year trying to keep that database secret. They only released it after an appeal to the Information Commissioner’s Office. The public was never told their feeds were being trawled.

8 Things That Don’t Add Up About Anthropic’s IPO

Anthropic wants stock market investors to value it at more than $2 trillion. Last year, the company behind Claude AI lost $42 billion.

By Lockridge Okoth, BeInCrypto

Both numbers sit in Anthropic’s IPO prospectus, the document a company files before selling shares to the public. Reuters reviewed it on Monday. Here are eight places where the pitch and the numbers pull apart.

1. A $2 Trillion Price Tag on $4.6 Billion in Sales

Anthropic made about $4.6 billion in 2025 revenue. At $2 trillion, investors would be paying roughly $435 for every $1 of sales.

Annualized revenue reached $65 billion in July and could hit $100 billion by year-end. But that is based on the current run rate, not a full year of audited sales.

If you are enjoying our original journalism and Five Meme Friday, please consider becoming an Art of Liberty Foundation Sponsor. Freedom isn’t Free and we had to spend $20,000 $25,000+ over the last four months to create our own uncensorable infrastructure to combat the censorship of Substack.
We have some AMAZING perks to say: THANK YOU!
